Campaigns!!

 Campaigns - Ironic

As a Students' Union of a university with high numbers of international and non traditional students, we feel it is important to take a global, holistic view of life.

This means that campaigning is large part of what we, as your Students' Union, do. We are concerned with both local and international issues and believe Students' Unions perform a neccessry function in society- in being a place where different views of life combine, it is a very real place for influencing the values of our society.

It was the Student movement in the 1980's that was at the front of the struglle against apartheid in South Africa.

So please take the time to familiarise yourself with the contents of these pages. You will find valuable information about our campaigns and student policy. As well as how to use your union to address concerns of your own.

All the campaigns represented here were voted for directly by the student members of UELSU.

UELSU can not take any responsibility for the content outside of it's own web site or the views or opinions expressed by other sites.
