Students' Union Bar

 Underground LonG

There the 'Underground Bar' at the UEL Docklands campus. This is where you can go for a drink without giving yourself and your wallet a funny turn at those London prices, and hang out in a friendly space filled with other students like you.

  • Prices are low all the time, but look out for promotions on certain nights, and Hometime Happy Hours, when selected drinks are a measly £1.70. This great offer takes place between 5pm and 8pm every weekday!

  • UELSU bar hosts regular great nights out. Comedy, karaoke, school discos, and all kinds of music are available here. Whether you're a hip-hop head, indie kid, disco princess or r'n'b booty-shaker, there's a night for you. And if there isn't, organise one. Most nights are organised by students, often as fundraisers for clubs or societies. To stay updated on what's happening and when, look out for posters and flyers, as well as the Ents pages of re:fuel or visit the entertainment section.

  • The friendly staff are all students just like you. So are the door staff and DJs. If you fancy being one of them, earning money and meeting loads of people, why not apply for a job? No experience is necessary, and you'll soon be making friends all over the place. CLICK HERE to find out more.

  • The Underground Bar is open from 12pm to 11pm every weekday and till 1am every Wednesday and Friday.

  • Your UELSU bar are members bars with a special license, so there is an entrance policy. You need your student card to get into the bar. You can sign in one guest per card.

Docklands (Underground Bar)

 underground3

  • The Underground Bar has been open since 1998, when Docklands campus opened.

  • The Underground Bar has two pool tables, a fruit machine, quiz machine and two plasma screens, as well as various bar games. There's also a range of soft drinks and snacks. So even if you don't fancy an alcoholic drink, why not go down there for some serious playtime or to catch the latest sports tournament on the plasma screens?

  • Recently refurbished (2008), Docklands Underground Bar is (arguably) the most comfortable bar UEL's ever seen.
